Effect of buck existence on some reproductive hormone levels during premating in Akkeçi goats

In this study, the effect of buck presence on serum progesterone, estrogen and FSH levels during premating in 20 female Akkeçi goats was investigated. The were assigned to two groups as follows: control group (n = 10) treatment 10). At beginning first blood samples (day 0) taken from each goat kept isolated away bucks at mating season. day 13, placed a pen next to, that order provide effect. Second does after days following for group. Seven later, combined same pen, then one introduced herd natural mating. Third sampling performed 2 merging, last (4th) 42th day. According result statistical analysis, existence concentrations not statistically significant (p > 0.05). conclusion, did affect observed hormone period.
